Context

Implement this MVP work package under M5 - Metadata Management, following the managed-storage decision in #1.

Acceptance criteria

Add editable plain-text notes to model forms and detail views.
Preserve line breaks and escape output; validate documented size limits.
Test empty notes, Unicode, persistence and script-injection input.

Blocked by: #29
