The spec requires backup and restore with standard tooling only.

Scope

  • pg_dump and pg_restore procedure for metadata
  • Filesystem copy procedure for the managed library directory
  • Ordering guidance and how to verify a restore
  • Explicit note that metadata and files must be restored as a consistent pair

Acceptance criteria

  • Documented procedure uses only standard PostgreSQL and filesystem tools
  • Restore verified on a clean environment
  • Consequences of mismatched metadata and files explained

Acceptance reconciliation at c1ef2ee: keeping open. Backup intent is documented, but executable coordinated DB/library/media backup and clean-environment restore drill are missing. This is a source/test review, not a newly executed crash or restore experiment. Fresh Windows suite: 291 tests, 1801 assertions, 22 skips; lint passes. PostgreSQL fixture success does not waive these feature criteria.
