Context

Implement this MVP work package under M8 - Hardening & Release, following the managed-storage decision in #1.

Acceptance criteria

Close required M0-M7 work and demonstrate clean-install import-to-download flow with multipart STL, image and document.
Verify originals remain unchanged, catalog removal retains all files, folder UI mirrors disk, failures/duplicates/missing/updated files remain visible.
Verify automated tests, CI, container health and backup/restore drill pass; record evidence in release checklist.
Publish release notes, limitations and tagged image through release workflow; no auto thumbnails, viewer, AI, print management, versioning or multi-user scope.
